CORVALLIS – The Oregon State Beavers will host the No. 9 Oregon Ducks Saturday afternoon at Reser Stadium for the 128th meeting of the heated rivalry series.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on Fox. If you don’t have cable, you can watch it live for free using Fubo (free trial) or DirecTV Stream (free trial).

Pregame injury updates: Oregon State center Van Wells and receiver Darrius Clemons are among those who will not play for the Beavers. And Oregon offensive lineman Matthew Bedford is not on the Ducks’ player availability list.

The annual clash is always marked by hostility and intrigue, and this year’s game is no exception. It’s the first time the teams have faced each other in September and the first time since 1963 that they’ve faced each other as non-conference opponents.

This, of course, is a byproduct of the Ducks’ decision last fall to move to the Big Ten, which contributed to the explosion of the Pac-12 and left Oregon State trapped in limbo regarding conference realignment.
