The Coen brothers’ filmography is very diverse. They’ve done everything from thrilling, Oscar-nominated dramas to hilarious comedies. Unfortunately, one of their best comedies is leaving Netflix soon.




One of her best films, Burn after readingwill leave Netflix 31.August. Burn after reading revolves around two gym employees, Linda Litzke (Frances McDormand) and Chad Feldheimer (Brad Pitt), who stumble upon a CD containing the memoirs of former CIA analyst Osborne Cox (John Malkovich). When the two hatch a plan to use the memoirs as blackmail in order to obtain a substantial sum of money for Linda’s expensive plastic surgery, they unwittingly enter a world completely out of their control and madness ensues.

Burn after reading also stars George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, Richard Jenkins, Elizabeth Marvel, David Rasche, JK Simmons, Olek Krupa, Michael Countryman and JR Horne. The Coen brothers reunite for a new horror film

The legendary directing duo have made countless classics together, but surprisingly the two have not worked together for many years. The last film they directed together was 2018’s The Ballad of Buster Scruggsa western comedy starring Tim Blake Nelson. The two did not give any specific reasons for their split, but assured their fans that it was nothing serious. Fortunately, the split is not final and the two plan to write and direct a film together very soon.
