Pakistani fast bowling star Wasim Akram and his wife Shaniera celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary with quite a bit of creativity on social media on Monday, August 19. Shaniera took to the social media platform ‘X’ to congratulate her husband and chose quite a manner to do so. Shaniera showed off her Photoshop skills as she portrayed Wasim Akram with a bald head and a thick beard. She added this with a humorous caption, “After 11 years, you look as good as the day I met you.”

Shaniera, who was born in Australia but works as a social worker in Pakistan, is Akram’s second wife. His first wife, Huma, died in 2009.

The legendary pacer, who has taken 916 international wickets across all formats, took a less humorous approach in a heartfelt letter to his wife.

Wasim and Shaniera met in Melbourne in 2011 and married in 2013. The two have one child together, born in 2014.
