OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA (KOKH) — The Oklahoma State Fair has crowned the winners of the 2024 Great TASTE of a Fair.

The providers competed for victory in three categories: “The Sweetest of the Sweet”, “The Savory” and “New on the Scene”.

Foodies, content creators and local media representatives selected the winners of the annual Great TASTE of a Fair food competition on September 11.

First place in the “Sweetest of the Sweet” category went to the Lotus Biscoff Funnel Cake at Wade Shows Funnel Cake, followed by the Pina Colada Palmer at A Latte Love in second place and the Mexican Funnel Cake at Gringo’s in third place.

First place in “Slice of Savory” went to the Spicy Pickle Pizza at Swains Pizza On A Stick, second place went to the PB&J Burger at Champions BBQ, and third place went to the Carne Asada Street Corn at Bad Boys BBQ.

The Young Grasshopper at Wondervan Pops took first place in the New to the Scene category, followed by the Cinnamon Rolled Cold Brew Pie ​​at Cutie Pies and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Horchata at Agua Fresca.

The first place winners in each category then competed for the title “FAIRest of Them All”.

A group from the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department crowned “The Young Grasshopper” from “Wondervan Pops” the “FAIRest of Them All” for 2024.

Starting today, September 12, trade fair visitors can cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the end of the fair.
