The Lockdown Trailer

“You’re in a death factory. If you don’t figure out how to survive, you’re not going to make it.” Even that one line is terrible. Republic Pictures via Paramount has released an official trailer for The curfewa martial arts action thriller from filmmaker Ryan C. Jaeger, who makes his directorial debut here. Another of those direct-to-video dumps, an exceptionally generic action film from Myanmar, made by the same producers who made Art of the Eight Limbs. Looks like they shot two movies back to back in Myanmar and Thailand and this is the second one. Siblings Charlie and Jack are trapped in Myanmar’s toughest prison, accused of a crime they didn’t commit. They are forced into televised fights against other inmates and must work together and fight hard for their freedom. Cast Caity Lotz, Leo Howard, Michael Biehn, Hon Ping Tang, Jennifer Blanc-BiehnAnd Kelly B. Jonesand many others. This film looks only slightly better than Art of the Eight Limbsespecially since it takes place entirely in prison and in a fighting ring. I just hope the action is worth it.

Here is the official trailer (+ poster) for Ryan C Jaeger’s The curfewdirectly from YouTube:
