Rod Miller passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the age of 68. He was born on July 1, 1956 in Sand Springs, OK to Sam and Nedra (Wooldridge).
Rod and Michelle Wood married on May 23, 1998 at the McBirney Mansion in Tulsa, Oklahoma and spent 26 years together.
Rod served on the Beavers Bend State Park Board. He was an employee of Oklahoma Natural Gas for over 40 years. Rod was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He taught wood turning at several schools including Broken Bow and Wright City. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Sam and Nedra (Wooldridge) Miller, his daughter Jessica Miller, and his brother Raymond Miller.
Rod leaves behind his beloved wife Michelle Miller of the home who will cherish his memories; his son Rodney Ryan Miller of Sand Springs, OK; his six grandchildren Morgan, Madison, Tanner, JT, Devlyn and Gage; his mother Twyla Miller of Sand Springs, OK; his good friends Earl Braddy and Chris Wood; and many other family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate life will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
