Roberta Katherine Yeggy, 88, of Riverside passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at Lone Tree Health Care Center. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Donations may be made in Roberta’s memory to Moments Hospice. Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Roberta was born on October 21, 1935, in Riverside, Iowa, to Francis and Florence Gertrude (Wadle) Yeggy. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Riverside. Roberta was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iowa City.

She is survived by her siblings: Juanita Bushman of Iowa City, Bernadette (Daune) Lorack of Lone Tree and Linda (Tom) Streb of North Liberty, her sister-in-law Evelyn Yeggy of Riverside and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Eldon (Edna) Yeggy, James (Betty) Yeggy and Merritt Yeggy, and her brother-in-law Kenneth Bushman.
