Not Nvidia. Portfolio manager says he would pick this ‘Magnificent 7’ stock in the short term, but expects the Jensen Huang-led company to surprise upside next week – NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA)

Technology investor and portfolio manager Eric Jackson On Thursday, he spoke about the “Magnificent Seven” stocks in an interview with CNBC.

Better Mag 7 Bets: Apple, Inc. AAPL, Meta Platforms, Inc. META And Nvidia Corp. NVDA are among the most popular stocks of the “Magnificent Seven,” said Jackson, founder of EMJ Capital. The portfolio manager cited Apple as a good buy at the beginning of the iPhone upgrade cycle, Meta as the first prime example of someone making a ton of money with artificial intelligence, and Nvidia as the frontrunner in AI.

Jackson, who sold Amazon, Inc. Amazon In July, he said the e-commerce giant’s shares were “damn” cheap, trading at historic lows based on a five-year price-to-earnings ratio. There was nothing wrong with the earnings numbers the company reported a few weeks ago, he said, adding the stock was definitely on his radar.

The portfolio manager said he plans to add Amazon in a few weeks, just before the next earnings season.

Jackson was referring to a recent speech by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt to Stanford and his conversation with OpenAIs Sam Altman, All it said was that the hyperscalers and OpenAIs of the world would likely spend $300 billion each on Nvidia AI over the next few years.

If Nvidia supplies these hyperscalers, its order book will be full for the next four years, and that is a huge amount of money ahead of the company, he said. He also hinted that For more information, visit: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. AMD And Broadcom, Inc. AVGO However, he believes that the vast majority or 95% of the revenue will go to Nvidia.
