Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (2) celebrates after scoring a score on the Browns’ first drive in the first half of an NFL football game against the New York Giants at Huntington Bank Field, Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio.

After an incredibly fast start, the Cleveland Browns offense went into a long period of no points and fell behind 21-7 early in the fourth quarter. Cleveland took control near the 50-yard line and orchestrated a five-play, 49-yard touchdown drive that ended with a a six-yard touchdown Pass from quarterback Deshaun Watson to receiver Amari Cooper – her second hit of the day.

The running game showed its first signs of life with a 12-yard run by Jerome Ford and a 14-yard run by Watson. After the score, Watson connected with Jerry Jeudy for a two-point conversion, cutting the lead to six points with plenty of time left in the fourth quarter for a comeback.

The Giants’ disruptive pass rush has kept their offense from performing particularly well, but by taking advantage of their excellent field position, they now have a chance to close out Week 3 with a win over the 0-2 Giants.
