Another week for the No. 8 Miami Hurricanes to prove they are the best in the ACC and one of the best in the country. This time, they will play in a different NFL stadium and face the South Florida Bulls in prime time on ESPN.

Early Opponent Preview at Miami Football 2024, Game 4: University of South Florida

This will be a step up in competition, as the Bulls played a competitive game against No. 4 Alabama a few weeks ago. It was a blowout, but the numbers don’t reflect how close the game was until the end. This could be a chance to see how Miami stacks up against the SEC heavyweight and the rest of the SEC, which holds six of the top seven spots in the Associated Press poll this week.

This can also be an exhibition performance for Heisman candidate Cam Ward. If there was ever a time to compare his performance to that of Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, this would be the perfect opportunity. Milroe is a Heisman candidate, so this would only be an asset to Ward’s resume if he can play at a high level.

The Hurricanes will look to dominate and do their best to face another in-state rival, USF, at Raymond James Stadium.
