Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged on August 8, 2024, at Chaitanya’s house in Hyderabad. Their close engagement was graced by their families and loved ones.

On Thursday, Naga’s father, superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, announced their engagement on X (formerly Twitter). Nagarjuna posted two photos of the newly engaged duo Naga and Sobhita on the platform.

The megastar expressed the immense joy of the Akkineni family as they welcomed the bride-to-be into their fold. In his tweet, Nagarjuna conveyed his congratulations and heartfelt blessings to the couple.

For those who may not know, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were in a relationship for a while before they decided to get engaged. Previously, Naga was married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu from 2017 to 2021. Their four-year marriage ended in October 2021.

Naga Chaitanya has completed Custody 2023 and is now gearing up for Thandel. Meanwhile, Sobhita Dhulipala was seen in Monkey Man earlier this year, a film starring Dev Patel that is yet to hit Indian theatres. She is now gearing up for her next project, Sitara.
