After years of planning, a sports complex in Beaver County opens its doors to the public.
The Shell Sports Complex in Center Township was packed during the open house on Wednesday evening.

The complex will offer a wide range of sports for both professional and amateur athletes.
The owner told Channel 11 that the community has long needed such a resource.
“The overwhelming support and the sense that this was long overdue was palpable. The community couldn’t have been more supportive and excited, and I think that’s reflected today,” said Jim Christiana of M:7 Sports.
Christiana says he hopes to help athletes strengthen their bodies and minds.
