Week 2 of the NCAA Division II volleyball season definitely brought some movement to the polls.
Four teams are ranked: No. 20 Dallas Baptist, No. 21 Angelo State, No. 24 Northern State and No. 25 Point Loma. The four teams that dropped out were Michigan Tech, West Florida, Lewis and Regis.
Tampa remains atop the polls as the team improved to 6-0 to start the season. Former No. 2 Wayne State falls to No. 8 after losing two games to Chaminade and Dallas Baptist, who rose from No. 13 to No. 7 and entered the poll from No. 20, respectively.
West Texas A&M (No. 9) jumped to No. 3 and even received some first-place votes after playing against a whopping four top-ranked teams, winning three and losing only in the third set to Missouri St. Louis (now No. 6), 15-13.
No team seems to be completely safe at the start of the season, as there have been many surprises and fluctuations in the polls. Check out the new rankings below.
