According to a press release, MSC Cruises has announced a partnership with Apple Original Films for the upcoming Formula 1 film “F1” starring Brad Pitt.
The film is scheduled to be released worldwide in June 2025 and the MSC Cruises logo will appear on the fictional APXGP car, team equipment and race tracks featured in the storyline.
Brad Pitt plays a former driver who returns to Formula 1 and APXGP, and Damson Idris plays his teammate on the fictional team.
The film was shot during real Grand Prix weekends around the world, with the fictional team competing against the real world greats in car racing.
MSC Cruises is a global partner of Formula 1® and has signed a multi-year agreement until the end of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
The partnership brings together two world leaders in their respective fields to drive change through their shared passion for excellence, sustainability and global entertainment.
The film will be released by Warner Bros Pictures in cinemas, theaters and IMAX internationally on June 25, 2025, and in North America on June 27, 2025.
The cast of “F1” also includes Oscar nominee Kerry Condon, Oscar winner Javier Bardem, Emmy winner and Golden Globe Award nominee Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.
The film was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Joseph Kosinski.
