Motorola’s top-of-the-line Edge+ (2023) remains a gem with $300 off on Amazon

Flagship Android phones often cost a fortune, but Motorola’s Edge+ (2023) stays at the price level of a mid-range device. That’s right, Amazon is still selling the model at an incredible $300 discount, making it an absolute bargain for fans.

Does the $300 discount sound familiar? And no wonder, since deals have been popping up since Prime Day last month. But to be awesome, deals don’t have to be unique and unprecedented, and the roughly $800 Motorola phone is attractive at 38% off. The Edge+ (2023) certainly can’t beat options like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but it still has a lot to offer. It features a large 6.67-inch pOLED display with lightning-fast 165Hz maximum refresh rates, giving you plenty of screen real estate to enjoy and an ultra-smooth scrolling experience.

Then you have the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 under the hood, which offers solid performance, especially for its current price. Admittedly, the camera isn’t as impressive as some other options. However, it still takes pretty good photos with its triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle unit, and a 12MP 2X telephoto lens.

Let’s not forget that this Motorola option has solid IP68 protection, a large 5,100mAh battery, and 68W wired fast charging speeds. In fact, it brings a lot to the table to justify your investment of about $500. But is it the only option in this price range? It doesn’t seem so.

The Pixel alternative you should check out

The Pixel 7 Pro is one of the most important Motorola phone Competitors. This one is usually even more expensive than the Edge+ (2023), but with two successors already on the market, we’re seeing some pretty great discounts, like this one. Amazon is now offering the 256GB Google Pixel phone with 55% off the price. In other words, you’re saving $550 on the model in Hazel.

What makes it better than the Motorola, apart from the super-awesome price cut? Well, this handset has top-notch camera performance. It has a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP main sensor along with an improved 48MP telephoto lens instead of 12MP, which gives you improved zoom performance.

With its 6.7-inch OLED display and 120Hz refresh rate, the Google feels quite similar to the Moto option. On the other hand, we shouldn’t overlook the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the latter, which is undoubtedly more powerful than the Tensor G2.

As a final note: While both Android phones have the same three years of operating system updates, you can expect these to come much sooner on the Pixel 7 Pro.
