More than 1,000 police officers were protected in the Honduras vs. Jamaica match

Tegucigalpa, Honduras (09/10/2024). – The National Police has more than 100 police officers to protect the Honduras vs. Jamaica match at the capital’s José de la Paz Herrera stadium.

Most recently, the uniformed officers were distributed in the fifth security ring, in various strategic sectors between the Estadio Nacional and Suyapa Boulevard.

The uniformed officers are safe and direct the traffic in the area, with the intention of avoiding incidents that compromise the integrity of the cities that preside over the football club.

To achieve this goal, participate in the different directions corresponding to the Policía Nacional, including the Dirección Nacional de Prevención y Seguridad Comunitaria (DNPSC), the Dirección Policial de Investigaciones (DPI), the Dirección Nacional de Vialidad y Transporte, among others (DNVT), the Dirección Nacional de Fuerzas Especial (DNFE), among others.

In order to prevent anyone entering the capital stadium with cortopenic items, you must also attract many people other than alcoholics.

Please note that access to vehicles located in the stadium will be possible from 4:30 p.m. and access for fans will be possible from 5:00 p.m.

The match between Honduras and Jamaica was promoted as the first match of the 2nd division in the B group, the A league and the Concacaf Nacional Liga 2024.

Honduras beat Trinidad and Tobago 4-0 in the final round and, as group leaders, faced Nicaragua, but with a big difference between the players.
