The first of back-to-back race weekends at the Milwaukee Mile features the start of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with the LiUNA! 175.

The trucks returned last season after a 13-year absence, headlining a weekend they share with the ARCA Menards Series. Both series return to racing on Sunday, and the Mile hosts an NTT IndyCar Series doubleheader the following weekend.

How much do tickets for NASCAR Trucks and ARCA at the Mile cost?

Reserved bleacher seats are $55 and general bleacher seats are $40 plus service fees and are available in advance on the State Fair Park website. Children under 12 are admitted free with the purchase of an adult ticket. General admission to the infield is $35 and these tickets are only sold at the door on Sunday.

Discounted tickets are available at 28 Menards stores in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

Additionally, two- or three-night camping packages are available in advance on site. Rules and restrictions can be found on the Wisconsin State Fair Park website.

What has been done to address the access and concessions issues that will prevail in 2023?

Entrances have been reconfigured and will function largely as they did during the fair, with separate admission counters and security checkpoints and more lanes than last year, a State Fair Park official said.

Eight permanent and five temporary food stands will be open, almost double the number from last year. The grandstand will have four active food stands on the upper level and three beverage stands on the ground floor.

The Speaker 150 is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. and the LiUNA! 175 for 3 p.m.

A Craftsman Truck Series autograph session is scheduled for Sunday from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the infield. To participate, fans will need a wristband. 100 will be handed out at the tunnel entrance at 10 a.m.

Will training, qualifying and racing be broadcast on television or via streaming?

Both races and truck qualifying are expected to be televised on FS1.

Which NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers should you watch at the Milwaukee Mile?

Native of Seymour Ty Majeski has won the last two Truck races this season and has won at the mile in super late models. He was the favorite last year but was hampered by a penalty for a violation caught during an inspection between practice and qualifying.

Corey Home leads the series in wins (five) and is tied for most top-five finishes (10), but trails in most other categories. He finished fourth in the mile in 2023.

Christian Eckes is second in the points standings at the start of the playoffs, three behind Heim. He is tied with Heim for most top-five finishes, has the most top-10 finishes (15), has led the most laps by nearly 300 laps (762), has the best average finish among full-time drivers (5.9) and is tied with Majeski for most pole positions (three). He was third at Milwaukee last season.

Defending champion Grant Enfingerwho won three times last season with the lame GMS Racing, has achieved two second places so far this year and is aiming for his first victory with the young CR7 Motorsports team.

Marco Andrettiwhose father Michael won five Indy car races at the Mile and whose grandfather Mario won four Indy car races, is scheduled to compete in the doubleheader. This will be his third Truck start of the season and his eighth in ARCA.

What happened in ARCA leading up to the Milwaukee Mile?

Defending champion from Milwaukee William Sawalich And Connor Zilisch – none of whom were old enough to ride on all courses at the start of the season – were the best in the field in their competitions.

Sawalich, 17, is the season’s points leader with six wins in nine starts in the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, including Sunday’s race on the dirt track in Springfield, Illinois.

Zilisch, 18, has won 4 of 4 this season in the No. 28 Pinnacle Motorsports Chevrolet, including Friday’s race at Michigan International Speedway, and also finished second in his only start in 2023.

None of the series’ full-time drivers have won. Andrés Pereza 19-year-old from Mexico City, leads the overall rankings with seven top-five finishes and twelve top-10 finishes. Second place Scott, Lavar Artist has led 144 laps, the most among the series’ regular drivers.
