Million Air Dallas begins construction of new ramp

FBO, Million Air Dallas, has begun construction on a new ramp at Addison Airport. The ramp is being built by award-winning Houston-based contractor Jacob White Construction and is scheduled for completion in September.

The ramp covers an area of almost 3 acres and will simplify the U.S. Customs clearance process for passengers by connecting the existing U.S. Customs ramp to Million Air’s hangar.

The new infrastructure will allow customers to benefit from exclusive vehicle services right at the ramp-side terminal, in addition to Million Air’s comprehensive range of world-class FBO offerings right next to U.S. Customs. In addition, business aircraft operators using the complimentary U.S. Customs service will be able to save an engine cycle, resulting in cost savings and faster, more efficient processing.

“This project represents an expansion of Million Air’s nationally recognized service to the U.S. Customs Ramp and will improve both service quality and operational efficiency for international aircraft arriving at Addison,” said Jeff Zimmerman, Vice President of FBO Services.

Meanwhile, Don Rickerhauser, President and CEO of Million Air Dallas, underscored the importance of the collaboration, saying, “Our close relationships with Addison Airport Management and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are critical. We are proud to contribute to the exceptional value the airport brings to the Addison community through this shared goal.”
