Mike Norvell has a difficult start to the 2024 season.
Norvell’s Florida State team started the season ranked No. 10 in the AP Top 25, but that’s sure to change after FSU lost to Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland, in Week 0. (The Associated Press did not release a new Top 25 after Week 0.)
The crushing loss to Georgia to end the 2023 season and the opening loss to Georgia Tech have put Florida State on a 2-game losing streak. The Seminoles are in danger of extending that streak to 3 games if nothing changes in Tallahassee.
Florida State is a double-digit favorite at home against Boston College. Bill O’Brien’s Boston College team dominated Norvell’s Noles until the second quarter.
Jokes are circulating on social media about Norvell missing Jordan Travis. Norvell has signed DJ Uiagalelei. The quarterback, often referred to as “DJ U,” was underwhelming in the Week 0 loss. DJ U and the FSU offense once again got off to a rocky start, especially on the first few possessions.

Mike Norvell has closely observed DJ U’s career development and said, “Yes, this is our man to replace Jordan Travis.”
And you idiots put her at number 10.

Norvell’s team still has plenty of time to turn things around. But right now, FSU is trailing Boston College 14-3 in the second quarter. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
