Back in 2020, Gregoraci claimed that Schumacher “communicated with his eyes” after his tragic skiing accident in 2013.

“Michael doesn’t speak, he communicates with his eyes,” she said during her appearance on the Italian version of Big Brother.

“They moved to Spain and his wife set up a hospital in this house.

“Only three people can visit him and I know who they are.”

However, according to the Daily Mail, her claims have been “largely refuted” by Schumacher’s family – as well as his manager and various “other sources”.

The truth is that almost 11 years after his tragic accident in the French Alps, no one really knows what condition the 55-year-old is in.

Schumacher flew to France for a family holiday in 2013 after retiring from Formula One for the second time earlier that year.

He was fortunate to be able to finish his career with minimal injuries. In fact, Mrs. Corinna Schumacher has previously hinted that at times she felt like guardian angels were watching over her husband.

But in 2013, Schumacher’s world changed when he tragically veered off course and hit his head on a rock.

Although he was wearing a helmet, he suffered a severe skull fracture. The Formula 1 legend was reportedly conscious immediately afterwards, but was then flown to hospital after barely being able to speak.

With Schumacher reportedly attending his daughter’s wedding, there are renewed hopes that he could be spotted again.

However, it would be unwise to rely on the family rightly prioritizing his privacy and well-being.

For eleven long years they often kept their cards hidden when asked about Schumacher and his condition.

Corinna previously said the family owed it to “protecting” the German as he “protected” them during his time in motorsport.
