“Batgirl”? Whatever!

Michael Keaton, who filmed scenes as Bruce Wayne – aka Batman – in DC Studios’ $100 million “Batgirl,” was not able to sleep well over the film’s dramatic setting in 2022.

“I didn’t care. Big, great, beautiful check,” the actor told GQ.

Keaton, 72, said he admires directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who scored a comeback hit this summer with “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.”

“I like these guys. They’re nice guys,” he said. “I’m rooting for them. I want them to succeed. And I think they felt very bad, and that made me feel bad.”

“Me?” Keaton added. “I’m fine.”

When the Post broke the news in August 2022 – shortly after David Zaslav took over as president – ​​that “Batgirl” had been shelved by Warner Bros., the turmoil became a major problem for the studio.

The new cast members had not yet been informed of the firing, and most of them did not react as blasély as Keaton.

“They had no idea the film was being shelved,” a source said at the time. “It’s a huge problem.”

Another insider said the actors found the poorly handled situation “humiliating” and “disappointing.”

Star Leslie Grace posted the Taylor Swift song “Shake it Off” in her Instagram story.

El Arbi and Fallah, who were also blind, released a statement saying: “We are shocked and saddened by the news. We still can’t believe it.”

Keaton now stars in the upcoming “Beetlejuice” sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” in which Keaton’s mischievous character plays a more supporting role than in the 1988 film, despite the name being used twice in the title.

“I think the character Beetlejuice doesn’t drive the story as much as he did in the first one,” Keaton said. “He’s more part of the plot here than in the first one, where this thing comes along and drives the movie a little bit.”
