In a game that started out as a back-and-forth affair, Luis Severino and the Mets bullpen managed to silence the Brewers in the second half of the game and put the Mets in a great position, now just one win away Advancing removes NLDS. As they have done all season, the Mets were resilient in this game, responding with rallies in the second and fifth innings after the Brewers scored in the previous half-inning. Sean Manaea will get the start tonight as the Mets look to advance to the NLDS for the first time since 2015.
