Rock band Metallica has extended its M72 world tour through 2025 and is bringing its “No Repeat Weekend” format with two shows with two different setlists and different opening acts to Nissan Stadium in Nashville on May 1 and 3, 2025.

The May 1st show will feature Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies as opening acts. The May 3rd show will feature Ice Nine Kills and Limp Bizkit.

Now in its third year, the M72 tour features a wraparound format that allows a few lucky ticket holders to experience the show from the center of the circular “Snake Pit” stage. The band has added 21 North American shows starting in April and running through June 2025.

Discounted two-day tickets for No Repeat Weekend and single-show-only cities will go on sale Friday, September 27th at metallica.com/tour. Fan club presales, including 2-day passes to Sonic Temple, will begin Monday, September 23rd, with additional presales taking place later this week. Single-day tickets for shows will be available starting January 17th, 2025.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to local charities through the band’s foundation, All Within My Hands. All Within My Hands was founded in 2017 to give back to the communities that have supported Metallica over the years. To date, more than $15 million has been raised, including $8.2 million in grants for career and technical education programs, including the groundbreaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, now in its sixth year. More than $3.6 million has been allocated to combat food insecurity and more than $3.5 million has been allocated to disaster relief efforts.
