Mercedes Mone talks about WWE talent being affected by Raw’s change to 2 hours and move to Netflix

“The CEO” doesn’t mind commenting here and there on topics that have nothing to do with AEW.

In the latest edition of her newsletter Mone Mag, she did just that.

Mercedes Mone spoke out at the time when WWE Raw was reduced from three to two hours for several months before moving from USA Network to Netflix in 2025.

“Now we’re talking about Raw,” Mone wrote. “The news is that the show is being cut from three hours to two, and honestly I have mixed feelings about it. I’ve always loved that extra hour because it gives more artists a chance to shine. Losing that time could mean fewer opportunities for the roster. It’s hard enough for talent, especially women, to get airtime.”

In this week’s episode, AEW’s TBS Champion also shared her thoughts on WWE moving Monday Night Raw to Netflix starting in January.

“The silver lining might be Netflix,” she explained. “With Netflix, I expect (and hope) there will be many new opportunities to showcase talent. Ultimately, I’m all about more opportunities for talent, which leads to more entertainment for the fans and more money for the company. That’s the best way for everyone to win – especially the cast and the fans.”
