In the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, a referee collapsed on the sideline, was resuscitated and later carried off the field on a stretcher. The referee, who was working as a first-down chain marker, waved his hand and moved his mouth as he was carried off the field on the stretcher.

On the field, Ravens and Raiders players quickly knelt while Baltimore medical personnel administered official CPR.

The incident occurred at 2:36 of the second quarter when a play was being called for replay. According to a member of the Ravens’ public relations department, the prisoner crew member was conscious and responsive when taken to a local hospital.

Due to the incident, the game was interrupted for about 10 minutes and then continued.

Another member of an inmate gang was carted off the field during the game between the Houston Texans and the Chicago Bears on “Sunday Night Football.” The referee on the sidelines was carted off the field, but sat upright and moved while giving the crowd a thumbs up as he left the field.
