Aidan Kasner, Sports Editor

I’m Aidan Kasner, and I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of Sports Editor for the upcoming year. I started writing for The Pitt News during the second semester of my freshman year, and now as a rising sophomore, I’m excited to start working in my new position. I’m studying communications and psychology and hope to graduate in the future. When I’m not watching a Pitt basketball game or messaging other writers on Slack, I enjoy running, working out, and spending quality time with friends and family. I want to make this a year to remember.

Matthew Scabilloni, Deputy Sports Editor

I’m Matthew Scabilloni and I’m honored to be joining The Pitt News as the Assistant Sports Editor for the upcoming school year. I’m a junior studying media and professional communications in the College of General Studies with a degree in exercise science. This is my fourth semester at The Pitt News and I look forward to continuing to cover as much Pitt volleyball and other Panthers sports as I can for The Pitt News.

When I’m not taking classes at Cathy or working for The Pitt News, you’ll find me playing golf, watching Pittsburgh’s sports teams fall short of expectations, or spending time with my friends and family.
