Matt Walsh convinces white women to toast their racism in new documentary

A group of mostly liberal white women quickly raised their glasses and toasted “racism” when persuaded to do so by undercover conservative podcaster Matt Walsh with the man bun.

Walsh burst into a commiseration session last year at the progressive supper club Race2Dinner for his upcoming documentary, “Am I Racist.” These dinners, which reportedly cost women up to $5,000, feature two hours of “honest” — many say self-hating — conversations about race, typically with eight guests.

“Can I propose a toast? I mean, just raise your glass if you’re a racist,” Walsh instructed attendees at the anti-racism dinner party in a new teaser clip of his upcoming flick, shared exclusively with The Washington Post.

At the Race2Dinner, the women raised their glasses and toasted the racism depicted in Matt Walsh’s documentary Am I a Racist?

Almost all the women at the dinner table did so immediately.

“Wait a minute, I’m not racist,” Regina Jackson, who founded the progressive Gab session with Saira Rao, said at one point, lowering her glass. Jackson and Rao are giving talks about women during the Race2Dinner.

Walsh’s upcoming documentary will be the Daily Wire’s first original theatrical release and will chronicle his personal (but actually humorous) adventure in the anti-racism movement.

It is intended to serve as a deconstruction of the movement, similar to how his 2022 documentary “What Is a Woman” addressed gender ideology. His infiltration of the Race2Dinner is intended to be one of the highlights of the film.

The new documentary follows in the footsteps of “What Is a Woman,” Matt Walsh’s 2022 film.

Throughout the preview clip, attendees of the expensive festivities smiled and seemed baffled by Walsh, who donned a headpiece over his lush hair and a mask that later slipped down.

Walsh was supposed to be their caterer, but he stumbled around, dropped silverware and plates, and seemed all too willing to intervene in their conversation about race.

“I was a white woman, unsuccessful for decades, and it was a miserable experience,” Rao recalled of her white female guests.

She added: “The hatred of yourself and of others is really the worst – the not recognizing your own power, the fear, as if all you do is talk shit about others and yourself.”

“That’s all they do. That’s all they do. I’m telling you, those white women…” Walsh interjected before dropping plates and kicking them into the nearby kitchen as dinner guests recoiled at his clumsiness.

Race2Dinner sessions can reportedly cost women up to $5,000 for a two-hour session.

Jackson joked that they might have to seat Walsh at their table, as he tended to add his own two cents to their “uncomfortable” conversation. An annoyed Roa told Walsh that he was not allowed to sit at the table.

One attendee asked if Walsh was an actor and explained that they tried to listen.

“We all put on an act all the time in our lives and I think that’s part of the problem. It’s like we’re all trying to play a role instead of just being real and having those uncomfortable conversations,” he said. “That’s what I always try to tell people, especially, you know, white women. No offense.”

“No, but look, you’re a white guy, there are positions of power,” Rao replied. “White people pointing fingers at each other is not helpful.”

Walsh ignored her not-so-subtle request to leave and sat briefly with the ladies at the table before leaving and returning for the toast.

In the documentary, Matt Walsh posed as a humble hippie with a bun and seriously tried to find out whether he was a racist.

“Am I Racist” will be in theaters on September 13th.

In the film, Walsh plays the role of a “clumsy, eager DEI intern,” explores the literature written by such groups, speaks with anti-racism experts, and meets with Robin DiAngelo, author of “White Fragility.”
