During an acting course at Harvard, Hollywood actor Matt Damon’s path crossed that of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Jackson claimed that she and the Oscar winner met as scene partners during a course at the prestigious Ivy League university.
“He won’t remember it, of course, but … ‘Waiting for Godot,'” Jackson told CBS Sunday Morning.

“The reason I remember it is because he was already pretty well known on campus and off campus, so it was pretty exciting to be his scene partner for a particular class.”
The Bourne Identity actor was a year ahead of Jackson, she added. Jackson recalled that she and Damon had memorized the scene from Samuel Beckett’s absurdist play.
“At the end, the professor said, ‘Ketanji, you were very good. Matt, we’ll talk.’ I just thought, ‘Oh my God, I was better than Matt Damon in one scene!'”

“At the end, the professor said, ‘Ketanji, you were very good. Matt, we’ll talk,'” she claimed, laughing. “I just thought, ‘Oh my God, I was better than Matt Damon in one scene!'”
Representatives for Damon and Jackson did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

In 2022, a spokesperson for Damon said the actor did not remember working with Jackson at Harvard, but was still enthusiastic about the story.
“This is so cool!” Damon told the Associated Press at the time. That same year, Jackson was sworn in as the country’s first black judge.
Damon did not complete his undergraduate degree at Harvard University. He was reportedly 12 credits short of being eligible to star in Geronimo: An American Legend.
After his studies, the Hollywood actor acted in numerous Oscar-nominated films. Together with his good friend Ben Affleck, he won the Oscar for their successful screenplay “Good Will Hunting”.
