Channel 4 has released a preview of the upcoming series of Married at First Sight, UK, and let’s just say it had us fidgeting in our seats.

Unfortunately, in the embarrassing clip you can see how a groom plays a rather embarrassing prank on his future wife, to which she is visibly unimpressed.

The popular dating series – famous for its dinner parties filled with insults and explosive confrontations – will be back on our screens later this year.

In the past, we have seen couples throw drinks in each other’s faces, couples cheat behind each other’s backs, and even babies being born. So it’s no wonder that fans absolutely can not wait until the show starts again.

And it looks like we’re in for a real surprise, as a video has gone viral showing one of this year’s soon-to-be couples standing face to face at the altar.

The first encounter between dog handler Kristina, 30, and mechanic Kieran, 28, seems far Like something out of a fairy tale, after the groom played a prank on his future wife and put a disgusting looking pair of false dentures in his mouth.

In the clip, the Geordie Joker can be seen patiently waiting for his bride to appear, with his lip clearly sticking out to hide his false teeth.

As members of the wedding party begin to stream into the church, some seem baffled by Kieran’s unusual appearance, and some bridesmaids seem unhappy with his attempt at being funny.

Then you see the wannabe freak putting a finger to his lips, as if begging the guests to keep quiet about his prank.

At that moment, Kristina appears – in a flawless white evening dress – and walks down the aisle with her father, impatiently awaiting the moment when she will finally come face to face with the man the experts have matched for her.

At that moment, Kieran smiles and shows the horrified Kristina a set of dentures with broken and rotten teeth.

Although she initially laughs at her groom’s smile, she seems upset, apparently questioning if the smile could be real after Kieran left it in.

“Are you okay, is everything OK? What’s your name?” he then asks Kristina enthusiastically, who can hardly bring herself to look at him.

“Those teeth. What the hell?” the bride is then heard exclaiming in the voice-over.

Giving insight into the motivations behind his prank, Kieran tells viewers: “I think the teeth might make us look a little immature. I’m a little nervous about how this turns out.”

“This could end really badly. I just want to know if this girl is fun.”

Viewers will be able to see in September whether Kieran can redeem himself with an unhappy Kristina.
