Mark Wahlberg gives update on the film “The Six Billion Dollar Man”

Mark Wahlberg is set to star in the film adaptation of the classic series The Six Million Dollar Man for over a decade, but it is one of those projects that takes quite a bit of time to implement.

In a recent interview with CB, Wahlberg talked about the project, joked about the title change, and gave a taste of what we can expect from it if it ever gets made.

The actor said: “You know, I have a superhero movie in mind, and that is The Six Billion Dollar Manformerly known as The Six Million Dollar Manincreased due to inflation.

“It’s grounded, plausible and real. You know, there’s a lot of bionic technology and science out there right now. So this is something that fulfills all the desires of a superhero, incredible things. But I don’t have to wear one of those suits.

“I don’t have the confidence to walk around in one of those suits. Halle says, ‘Oh, you would look great in one of those costumes.’ I say, ‘It’s not about the looks, it’s about the mental confidence to walk out of my trailer.'”

The original show, which is based on Martin Caidins The 1972 novel Cyborg tells the story of Steve Austin, a former astronaut and test pilot who is seriously injured in a crash and subsequently rebuilt with bionic implants that give him superhuman strength and speed.

With his new abilities, Steve becomes a secret government agent and takes on missions that require his special skills.

While grappling with his new identity and the moral implications of his enhanced powers, Steve navigates a world of espionage, intrigue, and danger while attempting to maintain his humanity despite his cybernetic enhancements.

The actor previously said: “We have a great idea and it’s something that’s been in the pipeline for some time. So if we get the script right, hopefully we’ll be able to make it after we Deep water horizon (2016).”

The latest script for the film was written by Bill Dubuque (The accountant) And Peter Berg is attached to directly.
