Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump and frequent critic of the Biden administration, now appears to be defending Vice President Kamala Harris against possible racist remarks.

Right-wing political activist Laura Loomer wrote on X in response to a tweet from Harris about her grandparents in India that if Harris wins the election, the White House will “smell like curry” and speeches will be “delivered through a call center.” Many online condemned Loomer’s comments as racist.

In a 7:10 p.m. post on September 11 (three days after Loomer’s comments), Greene called Loomer’s remarks “appalling” and “extremely racist,” adding that they did not reflect Trump’s views.

After Loomer posted several responses to Greene on X, MTG followed up with a second comment at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, doubling down on its criticism of Loomer’s rhetoric.

Loomer responded by pointing to Greene’s previous controversial statements, including claims that Jews were controlling the world with space lasers and accusations that Greene made racist slurs against Harrison Floyd, the former executive director of Black Voices for Trump.

Floyd is one of 18 Trump allies charged in Georgia for allegedly interfering in the 2020 election. Both Floyd and Trump are awaiting trial in the case.

Loomer also accused Greene of working with Democrats to weaken Trump’s allies just weeks before the election.

But that’s not all. Loomer also mentioned Greene’s divorce, calling her an anti-Semite and “a pathetic excuse for a Christian.”

And Loomer claimed that Greene regularly asked her for arguments that he could use in Congress against Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

MTG is not the only person Loomer has targeted in the past 24 hours. She has also attacked media personalities such as Jake Tapper and Mike Nellis. She defended her previous comments by saying, “Everyone should just relax and laugh at the cooking comments and the jokes about Indian call centers.”

This is not the first time Greene and Loomer have clashed on social media. Last year, Greene reportedly warned Trump against hiring Loomer, calling her “mentally unstable” and a “proven lying person.”

Although Loomer claims she does not work for Trump, she has been spotted with him at 9/11 commemorations in New York and Pennsylvania. According to another report, she was also seen getting off his plane before his debate with Vice President Harris. The Hill.
