A trip to Margaritaville has never felt so good.

On Friday, August 30, Margaritaville Resort Orlando will host the first-ever Jimmy Buffett Day of Service, coinciding with Jimmy Buffett Day in Florida, which the state legislature established earlier this year. The Margaritaville event is designed to give back to the community in the best way Buffett knew how – through music and togetherness.

But of course, it wouldn’t be Margaritaville without free margaritas and mini cheeseburgers for the first 500 registered guests to check in.

The event will take place in the hotel’s Grand Lobby and invite attendees to enjoy tropical-inspired photo opportunities, exciting live music and family-friendly activities. Guests can also enter a drawing to win a two-night stay at the resort and a merchandise package.

The free event will feature a variety of Buffett memorabilia for purchase, including exclusive merchandise and commemorative trophies. All proceeds from the sale of merchandise will go to Singing for Change, the late singer’s nonprofit organization dedicated to “giving back to non-traditional grassroots organizations that may be overlooked by conventional funders.”

Proceeds from ticket sales for the Day of Service event will benefit Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, a fairytale nonprofit resort where seriously ill children and their families can “create priceless memories together away from hospital visits and medical procedures.”
