After weeks of agonizing waiting, the fateful wedding days of Love Is Blind UK are finally here! We’ve seen the contestants fall in love, get their hearts broken, and even say “I do.” Some of their wedding speeches were definitely more tear-jerking than others, and there were moments that made my jaw drop. So here’s a ranking of Love Is Blind UK’s wedding speeches and which couples had the most beautiful words of love to say in the show’s dramatic finale.

6. Jasmine and Bobby

Of course, these two are at the top of the list of most enchanting wedding speeches. Bobby’s speech actually brought me to tears because you could tell how much it meant to Jasmine. I almost died when he said, “People say love is hard work, but loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I fell in love with your soul and knew I wanted you to be my wife.” The beautiful Jasmine was moved to tears, but let’s be honest, who wouldn’t cry?

5. Nicole and Benaja

What completely sold me on these two was Beniah’s tearful smile when he first saw Nicole walking down the aisle. The two have been through a lot together. Beniah wasn’t ready to commit to marriage at first, and Nicole originally said yes to Sam’s proposal. But after a wild ride, they finally found each other and their soulmate energy is SHOWING. Nicole told Beniah in her wedding vows, “Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that I would meet someone who literally speaks to my heart like you do.”

4. Sabrina and Steven

Sabrina and Steven’s speeches were absolutely beautiful, but they didn’t win the award for most infatuated because I was expecting that. Steven’s statement to Sabrina that he wants to be “the hug before you know you need it” really blew me away though. SO sweet and I wish them all the best – I really believe they are still married and happy together even after a year.

3. Cat and Freddie

I know Freddie meant well, but after he left Cat standing at the altar, the whole speech was spoiled for me. “I love you, but no” has to be one of the worst things he could have said to Cat. I know people on the internet aren’t the biggest fans of Catherine and that Freddie is generally considered a sweetheart, but imagine getting those earrings before the wedding and then your groom doing a total transformation. It was honestly so sad to hear them say “he’s not in love with me” and “I never want to walk down the aisle again.” Honestly, I was NOT impressed with him.

2. Demi and Ollie

Yuck, yuck, yuck!! Demi actually seemed really sweet in her speech, but Ollie took her no like a total sore loser. The fact that he just said “why?” after she had already explained it was really painful to watch. And Ollie, don’t act like you’re actually saying “yes” either, because marriage between the two of you was definitely not possible.

1. Mary and Tom

OMG I think I died watching this. I was so shocked when Tom left Maria standing at the altar and then went for a random walk through the countryside by a nearby river. Of all the wedding speeches on Love Is Blind UK, I really felt like Maria’s came from love and trust too. Sorry, but I also hated his reasoning for saying no: “My concern is if Maria and I had a boy, she would teach him to pay for most things. If I had a little girl, I wouldn’t want the girl to expect the boy to pay for everything. I would want to raise her to be a strong, independent woman who does her part herself.” And you think Maria, who went through the loss of her father and is SO strong, wouldn’t want that?? Maria definitely dodged a bullet there.
