Loki can be adopted through Second Chance

This 11-month-old puppy could be named after the Asgardian god of mischief from Marvel Comics – Loki. Loki was born in September 2023 and surrendered to Second Chance because his owners realized they weren’t active enough for this little bundle of energy. Loki is full of energy and has weird play habits. He has learned a few commands, gets along with other small dogs, likes both men and women, is crate accustomed, comfortable on a leash/tether, and is making good progress with house training.

Like most puppies, Loki can be mischievous and needs guidance. Ideally, Loki’s new family has the energy and knowledge to raise a young dog; she has another dog who can play a lot and would enjoy having a 10-pound “annoying little brother” go at him; she has a fenced yard to keep Loki safe; and older children who won’t be intimidated by Loki’s excessive energy. With love and training, Loki will make a wonderful pet for you.

Loki is neutered, has current veterinary care, is heartworm free, and receives monthly heartworm prevention. He is currently being fostered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and preference is given to families within 50 miles of Elkhart or Grand Rapids. Loki’s adoption fee is $400. Questions about Loki can be directed to his foster mom Michelle at [email protected] or by phone at 616-949-7813. If this little god of mischief has already hypnotized you, help him teleport to your home by filling out an online adoption application at secondchancesmalldogs.org/adopt/adoption-form.
