Important events

Already some early emails!

Anthony regrets Arteta’s decision:

Why, oh why risk Saka?

Marcus wants his team to turn back the years:

I’m confident Bolton can live up to their class of 1994 against this Arsenal team. I don’t want to curse it, but they can certainly beat a 16-year-old goalkeeper.

Summary:

Big challenge for Julen Lopetegui. Yes, he has made changes, but they are still experienced players. So far, this new era at West Ham has not impressed me. Hopefully we haven’t just signed Moyes 2.0! COYI

Coachman:

I don’t care what people say, I love the Europa League. Nice vs Real Sociedad is the best game tonight for me.

The Europa League has been expanded to 36 teams and the format has changed significantly. Ryan Benson has fired up the supercomputer Opta, which tells us that Porto are the favourites (even though they are losing at the moment), Manchester United are sixth favourites due to their inconsistency and José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are the underdogs.

Find out what else the supercomputer has to say below.

Bolton may have slipped down the English rankings, but when they were still playing in the top division they were considered a bogey team for Arsenal. Stelios Giannakopoulos and Justin Hoyte share their memories of how Big Sam liked to spoil Arsène Wenger’s party in the league.

However, they also had some good moments against the Gunners in cup competitions.
