Lions Dan Campbell’s home address was doxed, raising a number of security concerns

A powerhouse of a man on the Lions’ sidelines was harassed at home. Coach Dan Campbell and his family of four – including wife and two children – were victims of doxxing following last season’s tough loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Doxxing is the process of releasing personal information to the public, and the informant revealed Coach Campbell’s home address off Quarton Road in Bloomfield Township.

Then, as a prank, someone sent a group of repairmen to his house to make repairs that weren’t necessary.

After a loss to the 49ers in last season’s NFC Championship, the harassment increased again.

The family filed a report with Bloomfield Township Police.

Cambell said this week that safety concerns had necessitated the move.

“He’s obviously gained a little more notoriety, so I think the move was a smart decision,” Ashley Crain said.

Crain, the founder and CEO of Crain Homes, was hired to help the Campbells find a new home.

“We’ve kind of created this unique boutique brokerage situation with concierge services that other brokers don’t offer them,” she said.

Crain Homes helped sell the stunning $4.5 million home in 24 hours.

“It was one of those deals that doesn’t come along very often – it’s one of those trophy items,” she said.

Bloomfield Township Police released this statement regarding the security breach at Campbells. It states, in part:

“The Bloomfield Township Police Department is committed to the safety of all of our residents. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. We hope everyone, including fans, will respect the privacy of individuals and their families.”

Crain Homes has found a super private new property – for the Campbells, who have already moved in.

“I’m happy for them that they can have that privacy,” she said. “And I hope all the fans out there love him enough to give him that privacy, and their family as well.”
