Linkin Park announce tour and first album since Chester Bennington’s death, release new song and video: Watch
Linkin Park have announced their first new studio album since May 2017. Another lightThe new album, From zerowill be released on November 15th by Warner. The band has also released a new song, “The Emptiness Machine,” which has a music video directed by Joe Hahn. You can find it below.
From zero is the first new album by Linkin Park since the death of lead singer Chester Bennington in July 2017. The band still consists of original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell and Joe Hahn, joined by new co-singer Emily Armstrong and new drummer Colin Brittain.
Linkin Park haven’t performed since a Bennington tribute show at the Hollywood Bowl in October 2017. Next week they begin their From Zero World Tour. The band’s schedule can be found below.
After Bennington’s death, Mike Shinoda released the solo albums Posttraumatic And Dropped frames. He also won a Grammy Award for a remix of Deftones’ “Passenger.” In a press release, Shinoda said of the band’s new project:
