Lily Collins on her favorite outfits from season 4 of “Emily in Paris” – and the designer she wants to wear in season 5

Netflix’s “Emily in Paris” is a celebration of fashion – and for star Lily Collins, two special looks from season 4 made it to the top.

“The black and white Harris Reed ball gown was my absolute favorite look,” the actress told Page Six Style exclusively at the Paley Center for Media earlier this week.

Inspired by both a striped design worn by Babe Paley’s daughter Amanda at Truman Capote’s Black and White Ball in 1966 and by Audrey Hepburn in “My Fair Lady,” the extravagant ensemble appears in the season’s third episode, “Masquerade.”

Collins also named an outfit she wore in Rome in the final episode of season four (which aired September 12) as her personal favorite.

“I’m wearing a collared blouse, a vintage Alaïa skirt and flats and I’m feeling very ‘Italian vacation mode, Emily.'”

The show’s costume designer, Marylin Fitoussi, previously told Page Six Style that she and her team work hard to select the best possible pieces for Collins and her co-stars.

“It’s always a challenge to reinvent yourself,” Fitoussi said last year. “I watch many, many shows and meet many young designers.”

And Audrey Hepburn, a longtime muse of both Fitoussi and Collins, influenced more than just the masquerade ball look this season.

Collins, 35, recently posted behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram from the set of the sixth episode, showing her character hitting the runway in a faux fur look straight out of 1963’s Charade – a “definite pinch-me moment,” as the actress put it in her caption.

“This show really allows us to honor wonderful icons over the years, and this season in particular Audrey,” Collins told us.

“I grew up loving her films, her work with Unicef and her being as a whole, so it’s nice to experience these moments.”

The actress attended a PaleyLive event on September 17.
Other cast members joined her, including Ashley Park.

And what are her fashion hopes and dreams for Season 5, which Netflix confirmed is in the works?

“I would love to wear a bit of Victoria Beckham. I think that would be fun,” Collins said. “I think that’s very chic. Emily is more into black and that tailored aesthetic and I think that would be beautiful.”

Collins took part in the PaleyLive program “Emily in Paris: The Magic Behind the Scenes” together with her colleagues Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Bruno Gouery, Samuel Arnold and Lucien Laviscount.
