The Friends of the Douglas County Library used book sale will be held this Friday and Saturday at the Minden branch of the Douglas County Public Library.
The Friends of the Douglas County Library will host a two-day used book sale on Friday and Saturday at the Minden branch of the Douglas County Public Library, 1625 Library Lane.
For sale are hardcover and paperback books of fiction and nonfiction, vintage, young adult and children’s books, puzzles and more.
A presale for Friends of the Library members will be held Friday from noon to 3 p.m. Non-members may attend at the door.
Friends members receive a 10 percent discount on all purchases during the entire sale period.
The sale will be open to the public from 3pm on Friday and will continue on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, with a half-price sale from 3pm-4pm.
Donations of one or two bags or small boxes of books are accepted at the library during regular hours. For larger donations, contact the library at [email protected] or 775-782-9841.
Proceeds from book sales are used by the Friends to support library programs and projects for toddlers, preschoolers, children, tweens, teens and adults.
