The girl from the internet comes back to town in real life. Lauren Sanderson has announced the first leg of her Girl From The Internet Tour for this fall, with the second date being a Halloween night on October 30 at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club. The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter has built a cult following over the past few years, and it seems like everything is going well as we indulge in her tantalizing cocktail of pop, hip-hop, alternative and R&B. “I want people to hear these songs, watch these videos and think – that can be me,” says Sanderson. “I can get tattoos, I can embrace my sexuality, I can say what I really feel and be whoever I want to be.” She adds, “I see myself as a conduit. When people feel my energy or hear my lyrics, I want them to feel empowered and use that inspiration to create the life they want to live. To see someone who comes from confidence and knows that they can do the exact same thing for themselves. That’s all I really want.” Let’s get into it.
