In less than two months, the highly anticipated heavyweight boxing match that will air on Netflix will take place. On November 15, boxing legend Mike Tyson will step into the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to face YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul.

The 58-year-old former heavyweight champion, once hailed as the “most dangerous man in the world,” has announced his readiness to return to the ring. This is a significant moment as it follows a medical emergency that had the original fight postponed. The fight against Jake “The Problem Child” Paul will be Tyson’s first return to the ring since his exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

Paul, 27, improved his record to 10-1 after securing a replacement opponent: bare-knuckle boxer and former mixed martial artist Mike Perry. The fight took place in the main event of Fear No Man on July 20, the night he was originally scheduled to face Tyson. Paul was able to add another win to his record, showing unwavering confidence as he said he will continue to prove he can compete with real boxers.

The Tyson vs Paul fight is going ahead as planned. Here are the latest updates and rumors surrounding this highly anticipated event. As the date approaches, the excitement grows.

Jake Paul is not worried about Tyson’s health

After Tyson suffered a health scare earlier this year and the fight had to be postponed for several months, the boxing community was worried about Tyson. However, Jake Paul does not share these concerns and claims that no replacement is needed for Tyson.

In response to questions from TMZ, Paul told reporters, “He’s doing great. Behind the scenes, he’s super healthy and feeling great. That’s our focus and there’s no replacement at this time.” Paul continued, “You can get seriously hurt there, so if you’re not there to go to war, you should just leave.”

Predictions for Tyson-Paul:

PredictEm: Jake Paul

Loot Levinson writes: “I’m putting Jake Paul at -195 odds. I think that Bovada number might drop if Tyson gets some casual bets, but I think it’s a smart move. Tyson can still move pretty well, but against a young guy who isn’t necessarily a pushover, it’s just a tough fight for a guy his age, even though part of me wishes I was wrong.”

Roy Jones Jr.: Tyson wins

In a recent interview with FightHype, Jones, who fought Tyson in an exhibition match in 2020 – Tyson’s last appearance in the ring – said he believes Tyson will win the fight:

“It’s a young lion and an old lion. It’s a great situation for them. It gives Jake a chance since Mike is his age. I think it’s a great opportunity for both fighters, but I still think Mike will be a little bit too much for Jake.”

Adam Burke, VSiN: Jake Paul wins

Burke writes: “Paul is fighting a big name here in Tyson, but it’s hard to have any idea what to expect from the former champion. Paul’s youth and development into a respectable fighter are the reasons he’s considered the favorite in this fight. Say what you will about fighting MMA guys masquerading as boxers, but these are guys with good endurance and some more recent fist-fighting data than Tyson.”

Nate Diaz: He takes Mike Tyson with him

In an interview on the All the smoke In a podcast, Diaz said he respects Paul’s youth, speed and attitude of having nothing to lose, but Tyson is still his man. Diaz believes the pressure that comes with expecting Paul to win could also play a role in the outcome.

When will Jake Paul fight Mike Tyson?

The fight is still scheduled to take place on November 15 at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. Most Valuable Promotions, the promoter of the event, carefully planned the date to avoid conflicts with the Cowboys’ home schedule. They chose a new date to ensure the event ran smoothly and took into account the Cowboys’ game against Houston on “Monday Night Football” on November 18.

The start time of the fight has not yet been announced. It will be available exclusively on Netflix and will not air on cable or other streaming services.
