Lana Del Rey married Jeremy Dufrene in a ruffled neckline dress

Just days after Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene received their marriage license, the couple tied the knot. Del Rey married the alligator guide on Thursday at the bayou where Dufrene works in Des Allemandes, Louisiana.

Daily Mail obtained photos and footage of their ceremony, including shots of Del Rey walking with her father in a dress with a ruffled neckline, a full skirt and a short train. As “something blue,” the musician had her hair tied into a side ponytail with a blue ribbon. Photos can be found here.

People reported that Dufrene and Del Rey received their marriage license on September 23rd. From that date they had 30 days to get married and they did so quickly. This is Del Rey’s first marriage. Dufrene has a son and two daughters from a previous relationship.

The couple made their romance public earlier this month when they attended Karen Elson and Lee Foster’s wedding together at New York’s Electric Lady Studios.

Overall, Dufrene and Del Rey have kept their love story almost entirely private. However, they posted about the meeting in 2019. Del Rey took a tour at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours, where Dufrene works, while in the area for the BUKU Music + Art Project Festival.

Dufrene wrote on Instagram: “I never know who I may meet on my tours but it’s always a joy @lanadelrey.” She shared her own Facebook post about her visit in March 2019, calling it out in her caption: “Jeremy let me be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”

Their romance comes less than a year after Del Rey spoke to them Harper’s Bazaar in November 2023 about being single. The outlet asked if she was currently in love with anyone. “I’m definitely not in love at the moment. No,” she said. “Absolutely not in love. It was, but no.”

When asked if she wanted that, she shrugged and said, “Well, I’ll tell you.” That hasn’t occurred to me in the last five months on the road or here. But give it a week. Sure, my story will overwhelm me at some point. Yes. It would be interesting if that wasn’t the case. It would be interesting if that wasn’t the case.”
