The father of 17-year-old FC Barcelona and Spain star Lamine Yamal has been hospitalized after being stabbed in a parking lot near Barcelona, ​​according to multiple reports from Spain.

Citing anonymous official sources, the Spanish newspaper “La Vanguardia” and the news agency EFE reported that Mounir Nasraoui had been stabbed several times in the Rocafonda district of Mataró.

Nasraoui, EFE reported, was admitted to the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona, ​​​​Can Ruti, with various injuries.

La Vanguardia said Nasraoui’s condition was serious but stable.

Barcelona police have launched an investigation into the incident, which allegedly involved several people, and have already made several arrests, EFE reported.
