Lady Gaga wants the world to know how happy she is after finding love with her fiancé Michael Polansky.
The singer of “Die With a Smile” revealed fashion In an interview published on Thursday, September 5, the magazine opened up about how her life has changed since meeting Polansky. The profile says the couple got engaged in April after a day of rock climbing. (Gaga confirmed her engagement in July.)
“The missing piece in my life was true love,” Gaga, 38, told the outlet.
Gaga revealed fashion that her mother Cynthia Germanottawho runs the singer’s Born This Way Foundation, met the entrepreneur before her while attending a charity event.
“My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband yet!'” the singer said. “I never thought my mom would… find the perfect person for me?”
Gaga and Polansky finally met at the Napster co-founder’s Sean Parker40th birthday party in Los Angeles in December 2019.
“I got invited and said, ‘I wonder if Michael will be there,’ and my mom said yes, so I went to the party and kept asking about him, and finally he came over and we talked for three hours,” Gaga said. “We had the most incredible conversation.”
“I didn’t know much about her and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect,” Polansky said fashion“I was immediately impressed by her warmth and openness – she was genuinely curious and wanted to know what my life was like as a child in Minnesota.”
The couple quickly bonded and quarantined at Gaga’s Malibu home during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
“We’ve experienced this amazing chapter of a strange kind of normalcy … that is essential to the real development of any relationship – taking walks, making coffee, hanging out with the dogs, reading books together,” Polansky said.
Gaga added: “I’m very grateful that I wasn’t alone. I’ve never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind.”
The Joker: Foil for Two said if there’s one thing she wants to tell her fans about her relationship, it’s this: “I’m just so happy.”
Fans can also thank Polansky for encouraging her to release a new pop album – her first since 2020. Chromatica.
“As anyone would do for the person they love, I encouraged them to give themselves over to the joy of it,” Polansky said. “On the Chromatica Tour (in 2022) I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive and just start making music that makes her happy.”
