The 2022-23 season was a dramatic and exciting one for the Sacramento Kings. They had the best offense in the NBA, finished third in the Western Conference, and forced the Golden State Warriors to seven games in the first round of the playoffs. Unsurprisingly, they were rewarded with an astonishing 22 nationally televised games in the 2023-24 season.
Last season, however, the Kings failed to live up to expectations. After winning 46 games, two fewer than in 2022-23, and missing the playoffs, the Kings faced a huge drop in nationally televised games next season.
The Kings enter the 2024-25 season with only 12 nationally televised games scheduled. On the positive side, nine of the 12 nationally televised games will be played at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
