EXCLUSIVE: A year and a half ago, Kim Kardashian landed her first major acting role in season 12 of the FX series American Horror Story. She has since been hired to star in and produce a new drama series for Hulu. Everything is fair, and has pushed two film and one television series packages that were sold in bidding wars. Now Kardashian has signed a first-look deal with 20th Television, the studio behind AHS And Everything is fairwhich will include drama, comedy and miniseries.

For its first project under the multi-year pact Group chatKardashian has teamed up with her longtime friend La La Anthony. Federal Ministry of Finance will play the lead role in the comedy, which is directed by black-like Creator Kenya Barris based on Anthony’s bestseller The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex and Happiness. Group chatbeing developed for Hulu is a co-production between 20th TV and BET Studios, with Barris as a lead partner.

Kardashian and Anthony serve as executive producers. Barris is an executive producer through his Khalabo Ink Society, and the company’s Adam Kassan is also an executive producer.

“I am incredibly interested in telling stories that are personal, complicated and relevant, from my own and intimate experiences,” said Kardashian. “I had a first experience working with the extraordinary team at 20th Television during American Horror Story: Tenderand I am thrilled to dive into developing my first wave of television projects with the team led by Karey Burke and Eric Schrier and to continue working with Craig Erwich and his entire group at Hulu and Disney.”

At Hulu, Kardashian Everything is fairwith FX Sensitive also streamed on the platform. Both come from 20th TV-based super producer Ryan Murphy. In addition, reality juggernaut The Kardashians is running on the Disney streamer in its fifth season.

The three packages featuring Kardashian that were sold this year in very competitive situations include the series Calabasasexecutive producer of the SKIMS mogul and her Sensitive co-star Emma Roberts, who landed at Netflix; and two films in which Kardashian will star in addition to producing, comedy The fifth wheel on the wagonalso on Netflix, and untitled thriller on Amazon MGM Studios. She is represented by WME.

Barris, the creator and executive producer of the black-like Franchise, which spanned three series, is executive producer of the acclaimed new BET+ series Diarra from Detroitcreated by and starring Diarra Kilpatrick. The prolific writer, producer and director’s recent work includes the series #blackAF, Entergalactic And The Vince Staples Show and film You people — all for Netflix. He is repped by WME, Artists First and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.

Known for her role as LaKeisha in Starz’ hit Perfomance, Anthony is a series regular on Starz’ Federal Ministry of Finance and is always shown on Showtime The Chi. She recently starred alongside Melissa Joan Hart in the film The evil guardianHer first book, published in 2014 The Love Game Book, This was followed The Power Playbook the following year.
