HATTIESBURG, Mississippi (WDAM) – Kids Market kicked off a three-day consignment sale in Hattiesburg on Saturday.

The sale runs through Monday at the Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center.

Saturday was reserved for the Early Bird Guest Presale. Sunday and Monday are open to the public.

Kids Market was founded in 2007. The company invites parents to donate used items that their children may have outgrown or no longer need for sale.

The company’s website states that over 350 families are currently contributing items for sale.

The Kids Market opens its doors twice a year. This weekend, families had the opportunity to choose from over 50,000 items, including strollers, baby walkers, car seats and clothing.

“We’re excited to be able to offer families a place to shop where they can get really good items at a fraction of the price,” said Whitney Tramel, owner of Kids Market. “For the families who stock with us, it’s a blessing to be able to sell what their kids no longer need and then buy the things their kids need.”

The event will take place on Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00 and on Monday from 10:00 to 20:00.
