Kelly Bensimon has another date.

Former “Real Housewives of New York” star Kelly Bensimon is in a relationship again after splitting from Scott Litner.

In an interview with Page Six published on August 11, Bensimon, 56, said she’s starting to date again — at least casually. While she admits she’s not ready for anything very serious, she’s enjoying her time and “having fun dating.”

“I’m not in a relationship. I’m… happy to explore new opportunities,” she told the outlet less than two months after calling off her engagement.

“I’m enjoying it, I’m not chasing,” she continued. And she’s ready for what lies ahead. “I can’t wait for my next chapter. I’m not in a committed relationship,” she added.

After her separation from Litner, Bensimon moved back to her old apartment building in Manhattan to make a fresh start.

“I’m excited about my new chapter. I want to move forward and build an amazing life for myself,” she told Page Six.

The former reality star married Gilles Bensimon in 1997. The two divorced 10 years later after having two children together.

Bensimon and Litner became engaged in July 2023. They then planned not one but two weddings, the first of which was set for June 22, 2024, according to People Magazine. However, she ended the relationship just four days before they were scheduled to exchange vows. She later revealed that Litner’s refusal to sign a prenuptial agreement led to her decision to end the relationship.

“I have never come this far in my career or in life to make bad decisions because of a man. He of all people should have understood that we need to protect each other before we tied the knot. I am truly shocked that he turned down a prenuptial agreement,” Bensimon said in an interview with Us Weekly on June 26.

She repeated these thoughts in another interview.

“He thought I was entering into this union without any legal protection and leaving everything to faith. But I have worked really, really hard as a single mother and have always made smart decisions for myself and my family, and that will continue to be the case,” Bensimon told ET in an article published the same day.

Dozens of fans have commented on Bensimon’s Instagram feed telling her they support her decision and love her new chapter.

“Nice to see you living your life to the fullest,” one person commented on Bensimon’s August 13 post.

“Good for you Kelly. I respect your decision. You are a wonderful role model for women. Enjoy your family,” someone wrote under her June 23 post.

“I saw the last few articles and wanted to say how much I admire you for taking care of yourself and being smart even when it’s hard. Other women should be just as wise,” said another comment on this post.

“Kelly the right one will sign the prenup!! He wasn’t meant for you. Big hug,” one Instagram user said in response to Bensimon’s June 28 post.
