Now Kari Lake comes along and raises her Trump flag (so to speak) in the middle of Sunday football.
Lake is calling on all Arizona Cardinals fans – or at least those who love America – to wear their MAGA hats at all remaining games this year.
Because, of course, it is an immutable law of political fanaticism: If you love America, you must wear a MAGA hat.
Or maybe a pair of these MAGA high-tops for $399.
Or at least a set of digital Trump trading cards.
But I digress.
If you love America, do you wear MAGA clothing?
“EVERY @AZCardinals fan who loves America should wear their MAGA hat to EVERY AZ Cardinals game this season,” Lake said in a social media post Wednesday.
You fans who don’t love America? You can just keep wearing your Cardinals gear.
Lake’s call to turn Sunday’s football game into another political rally comes after a security guard did not allow a season ticket holder to wear her black MAGA hat at State Farm Stadium on Sunday.

The security officer apparently misunderstood the regulations regarding prohibited items.
“As in most places, ‘signs, posters, flags or displays that are … political in nature’ are not permitted. However, that was not the case in this case,” the team told 12 News.
“We will work to provide clarity to all stadium employees in these situations going forward. We have also reached out to the individual involved to let them know that their experience was not consistent with our policies and practices and to apologize.”
Lake wants to make the Cardinals great again
Lake doesn’t want to accept that a human made a mistake and hopes to make a scene.
Perhaps she sees this as an opportunity to score points and catch up with her opponent, US Representative Ruben Gallego, in the race for the US Senate in Arizona.
Or maybe she even believes this is a way to make football great again – by turning our beloved Sunday afternoon sport into another MAGA battleground.
What’s next: Harris hats and then shouting matches?
The Red Zone becomes… you know… the Red Zone?
Instead of “Go Cards,” loud chants of “Trump, Trump, Trump?” will echo through the stadium.
Sure, this will solve America’s problems.
