Kaitlin Olson’s new ABC show undermines her role in “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”

Kaitlin Olson is starring in a new comedy series on ABC this fall, subverting all expectations for the actress who has been playing Dee in It’s always sunny in Philadelphia. The actor is an integral part of the series and has starred in all 16 existing seasons, with seasons 17 and 18 in the pipeline. Olson will star in the new ABC series High potential, Debuts on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Olson plays Morgan, a cleaning lady and single mother of three children who is “Intellectual with high potential” because she has an IQ of 160. The premise of the series is that Morgan, after making a breakthrough at work, is recruited into the LAPD’s Major Crimes Division to discover the things that the other detectives miss. The new show was created by Drew Goddard and is based on a French-Belgian crime comedy series called Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI)..

High potential is a combination of comedy and drama with the premise of “murder of the week”. The series will Scrubs – The wonderful world of peelings Judy Reyes as Selena Soto, who is in a High potential Preview in July 2024, the “all the girl power of it all” attracted her to the role (via ABC.)
